Farm Pest Control

There are a number of products which fall within our segment called ‘Farm Pest Control’. Generally speaking these are products which are used to manage pests around farm buildings or for the protection of food produce, or other materials, post-harvest (but not used directly in the protection of field crops). These products include rodenticides for management of mice and rats in farm situations, insecticides for general insect control and stored grain protection.

Racumin is a rodenticide which is well suited for use around the farm environment. As a multiple feed rodenticide with low secondary poisoning potential it presents the benefits of being ideally suited for environments where domestic animals and wildlife may possibly be able to gain access to rodent carcasses and it also helps to overcome bait shyness in areas where this may occur.  It is available in a range of formulations and pack sizes.

Insects can cause problems in rural environments a number of areas; Bayer Environmental Science has a range of products which can be used to control these pests (such as flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches and other nuisance pests).

Our key products in this area include Coopex Residual Insecticide and Ficam W Insecticide; both of which are available in convenient unit-dose sachets which minimise measuring and handling..
