Professional Pest Control
The Professional Pest Control industry provides an important function within society at large, protecting public health and well-being, maintaining the integrity of structures and preventing unnecessary loss of certain food commodities.
Bayer Environmental Science has long been a market leader in the provision of professional pest management solutions. With a history of involvement spanning more than 30 years; Bayer Environmental Science has, over time, introduced key new molecules for the professional pest management industry in Australia; these have included bendiocarb, permethrin, deltamethrin, betacyfluthrin and imidacloprid. Whilst synthetic pyrethroid sprays are a core component of our range we have also developed and introduced a large number of unique, innovative and low toxicity formulations such as cockroach gel baits, liquid and granular ant baits and ready-to-use termite foams.
New molecules which offer advantages over earlier chemistry do not come along very often; however we recognise the increasing demands on the industry for greater levels of safety, better performance and reduced environmental impact and are committed to future development of innovative formulations of existing compounds which address these requirements.
Our level of commitment to the Australian pest management industry is illustrated by our diverse portfolio and range of solutions. With a strong position as market leader, in terms of both our existing product portfolio and future pipeline, we also have a commitment to Sustainable Development and are engaged in a number of initiatives locally and globally on this important philosophy.
