Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is Starycide compatible for use with other products?
A: We have tested the compatibility of Starycide with most of the main Bayer products (eg. Cislin and Tempo) and they are known to be compatible. Compatibility with other manufacturers formulations is not known.

Q: When would it be recommended to use Starycide?
A: Starycide is an ideal complement to cockroach management programs where an additional level of residual population control is desired to complement use of bait gels. We would also regard it as an essential component of a flea control strategy.

Q: When I used the old Starycide it was a quite thick formulation which was difficult to measure, is this new formulation the same?
A: No, this formulation has been developed specifically to overcome some of the issues with measuring and pouring which were experienced in the past. This formulation is free flowing and easy to measure.

Q: Some insect growth regulators that I have used in the past had a quite strong smell, does Starycide have a strong odour?
A: No, Starycide does not contain any of the solvents that gave previous IGR formulations their distinctive smell.
